Hi, friends! It’s Marley again, here to share another adventure-filled week in my very busy dog life. Let me tell you, being the unofficial boss of the household (and now an honorary dog in another family!) is exhausting work.
It all started when Mom said I could join her for her ribbon cutting in North Platte. I was so excited—days and nights were spent daydreaming about meeting new people, wagging my tail through the office, and soaking up all the attention. But then… she left without me! Can you believe it?! I was crushed. Thankfully, I got to spend the day with my little brother, Kooper, and his mama, Rhonda.
Kooper and I played in the snow all day, which is one of my favorite things to do. By the time Mom came back that night to pick me up, I could barely keep my eyes open. She said I slept straight through the night (no surprises there!) and woke me up early the next morning.
Why so early, you ask? Well, Mom had another plan for me—visiting Phoebe and Frank at the Pickerel house! I think at this point, I’m basically part of the family there. Honestly, they should get me my own food and water bowls with how much time I spend with Aunt Emily. We played tug of war, chased squirrels off the property (you’re welcome, Dad!), and had the best time together.
By Saturday, I was completely worn out, so Mom let me sleep in while she went to her company awards. She said she knew I needed my beauty rest—and she wasn’t wrong. 💤
Sunday was perfect. We spent the whole day chasing tennis balls, my favorite way to recharge after a busy week. And today? I’ve been hard at work helping Mom and Brad run the company. I might look like I’m just lying under the table, but don’t be fooled—I’m making all the big decisions around here.
