Marley's Weekly Adventure: Marley’s Tennis Ball Chronicles

Marley's Weekly Adventure: Marley’s Tennis Ball Chronicles

Hey everyone, it’s Marley again! I’ve got a lot to share this week, but first—let me just say I’m a little late getting this blog out because I’ve been busy. Very busy. With tennis balls! I spent Friday night, Sunday night, and TONIGHT chasing them around like a true champion. It’s the one thing I can do without any distractions, and let me tell you, I was on fire! I might be a little slow getting this blog out, but I had to make sure all those tennis balls got their proper attention.

Now, about my week...

Aunt Emily and I had an amazing time watching the inauguration, and she kept giving me belly rubs while I relaxed. But here’s the thing—Mom and Aunt Emily turned on me and snuck off to see Beaumont (I told you about Beaumont in a previous blog)! They thought they could pull one over on me, but I caught the scent from a mile away. Yep, Beaumont’s house is almost ready to sell, and they tried to keep it a secret, but I wasn’t fooled!

On Monday, Mom had a big important board meeting about some land where Ruby and Mitzi live, but she’s been keeping it super quiet. She promised she’ll tell me more when everything is in place, so I guess I just have to wait and see.

Thursday was a lot of fun because I got to hang out with Frank and Phoebe all day. Mom says she’ll be in Omaha every Thursday from now on, so if you’re up that way and need help buying or selling a house, make sure to keep her busy! She’s really good at it, and I’m sure you’ll like working with her.

But on Saturday, Mom left me home again. She went to dinner with Kooper’s human sister and some other friends. I guess I’ll forgive her, but only because she asked me to share something with you all—she has a buyer client moving to town, and they need a house in the Himark or Edenton South area. If you’re thinking of selling in those neighborhoods, give Mom or Aunt Emily a call!

Mom also stopped by her client’s house this weekend—she talks about the clients dog, Bella, all the time, and now I know why! Bella is a really nice pit bull girl who LOVES getting pets from Mom. It sounds like Bella is going to be super happy in her new home because she’s moving from a place with a lot of stairs to one with NO stairs. Bella is really excited about that, and I can totally understand why!

Now, back to my tennis ball adventures. After all that running and chasing, I had to drink water to cool off. Mom gets so mad that I play in my water bowl. I don’t understand why she doesn’t get that I have to dip my entire face AND my left paw in the water to make sure it tastes just right. It’s a delicate process! After all that chasing and drinking, I finally got to take a long nap.

Oh, and speaking of tennis balls, check out the picture above! This is proof that Mom loves me—she recently bought me a bag of tennis balls, and they travel with us everywhere we go and if you see us out, you can throw one for me. I think I’m pretty spoiled, but I’m not complaining!

That’s all for now, folks! It’s been a fun week, and I’ll be back next time with more adventures. Thanks for reading, and make sure to give your tennis balls a good chase too!

Love,

Marley 🐾
