Meet Marley
Hi, I’m Marley! 🐾
Hey there, friends! My name is Marley, and I’m a 1.5-year-old golden retriever with a lot of energy, a big personality, and just enough sass to keep things interesting. My mom, Rachel, thought it would be fun for me to share my weekly adventures with you, so welcome to my blog—straight from my paws to your screen.
I might be the only dog in my house, but I’ve got a whole squad of golden family members. My mom, Ruby, and sister, Mitzi, live with Rachel’s dad. My dad, Franklin, and step-mom, Phoebe, live with Rachel’s sister, Emily. Emily is my absolute favorite person. When Mom has to go places where dogs aren’t allowed (the nerve), I get to stay with Emily or Uncle Mike. Honestly, they spoil me so much I almost don’t miss Mom (almost).
I also have a half-sister, Rainey, and cousin, Rory, who live with Rachel’s brother, Bill. And the best part? I get to see my other siblings—Remy, Charlie, Kooper and Nellie—pretty often. Family reunions are wild, and I usually end up the star of the show (if you ask me).
When I’m not chasing tennis balls (I’m a pro, by the way), I’m riding shotgun with Mom while we check out houses, meet clients, and do all that real estate stuff she’s always talking about. My favorite days are when we go to the office. The real estate agents there are the best—they’re basically my fan club, and belly rubs are mandatory. Sales meeting days are the ultimate because I get to see everyone at once.
Mom says I’m a “work in progress” when it comes to my manners (as if), but I think I’m doing pretty great. I’ve taken several obedience classes and recently scored an 80% on my Canine Good Citizen test. Apparently, that’s not enough to pass, but hey, progress is pawsitive, right?
This blog is my way of sharing all the fun, crazy, and tail-wagging adventures Mom and I have each week. From showing houses to chasing tennis balls, life with me is never boring. So stay tuned—there’s a lot more fun to come!
